Renton VFW & Buddy’s Partnership

With the generous help of all of our customers and Buddy’s matching all donations – we have now contributed $8,621.88 for the Renton VFW. Each and every Saturday we have the Renton VFW in the shop running their famous Buddy’s Poppy Drive, and since November 1st we as a community have come together to support the Veterans in need in our own community. To Highlight the good the VFW has done for the Veteran communities in the US, here is a short breakdown of their accomplishments.

 

$11.9 Million 

Is the value of financial assistance awarded to military families in communities like ours since 2004 to help cover basic needs in times of crisis. 44% of the funds covered basic housing needs.

$8 Million 

Is the amount raised through the VFW “Buddy” Poppy program for Veterans in need. ($8,621.88 raised at Buddy’s for Renton VFW Post as of 4/9/2021)

We will continue supporting the Renton VFW as a dedication to our community and the Veterans who take pride in shopping and supporting Buddy’s. Come into Buddy’s every Saturday from 12pm-6pm to see a friendly face, listen to their stories, and donate to a cause that supports the hero’s in our community.
